On the 4th and 5th March, Kaine Management hosted Oh Happy Days: Our Songs. The event took place at Curve Theatre and saw 12 childrens choirs perform the songs they had written during their weekly singing workshops. An important part of this programme was for each child to not only have experiences in performing but to also learn song writing skills. Each choir had the task of writing two songs. A song about unity and and song about thier school. Once their songs had been created, baking tracks were made and they were ready to go! The evening (with over 200 children taking part) was full of a creative and diverse range of songs which everyone enjoyed. This being their second performance the children were a little more prepared with what to expect, but were none the less as excited as ever to be performing once again and had a great time.
For one of our backstage activities we got the children to write newspaper articles of their thoughts and experiences performing at Curve.
