A 5-week programme working with BAME organisations to help them to better structure their business and to access and secure funding. We will also start to create a network of BAME businesses in Leicester.
|Teen Parents on Track|
Teen Parents on Track is a long-running project, working with young parents in the City of Leicester. We respond to the needs of our participants and encourage and support them towards positive futures.
Kainé is running sessions to give the young women growing up the chance to get involved in fun, positive activities, new experiences and new challenges.
|Black History Roadshow|
The Black History Roadshow in October 2018 included performances of dance and music of black origin, spoken word and poetry in an exploration of modern and historical black culture.
Sisters Can is a self-run community group, supported by Kainé.
One of their latest events was a Ladies’ Soiree, which brought women together for relaxation, music, food and talk.
